Change Request Management
Cherwell includes organisational Change Management capabilities to allow you to request, plan, manage and measure the success of Change Requests.
The 3 ITIL best-practice change types (Normal, Standard and Emergency) are fully supported, as are multi-level approvals allowing IT, customer and third-party approvers to collaborate in the management of a Change Request. Any individual Change Request can be linked to (or spawned from) Incident, Problem, Configuration Item, Service, Project or other Change Requests, allowing the impact of a change to be easily and quickly understood.
As with all Cherwell functionality, the Change Management processes are completely tailorable to your particular organisational need.
